Ping is a network tool that tests communication with a remote computer. Ping utility send packets to a remote PC and waits for a reply measuring the time lag between and original request and a reply from a remote computer.
Tracert or traceroute (tracepath) is a computer network tool that trackes a path that network packets take on the internet in order to reach a remote computer system.
This all-in-one software allows you to change and save command line parameters directly from settings dialog and specify:
* Whether to resolve IP address to a readable host name
* Number of ping packets to send
* TTL - time-to-live of ICMP packet
* Timeout - how long to wait a reply from remote host
* Size of the ping packet
* Number of ping requests for traceroute command
* Number of hops for traceroute
* Traceroute timeout
